Technical Description
PMI Master Pro Alloy Analyzer, also known as Portable Alloy Analyzer Spectrometer, is being used more and more by businesses and organizations operating in the fields of Ferrous Metal Casting, Non-ferrous Metal Casting, Metal Processing, and Material Analysis to monitor the chemical composition of elements in metals.
- The PMI Master Pro (PMP2) alloy analyzer is a high-level metal composition analyzer that uses emission spectroscopy with the principle of using a digital trigger source to generate high-frequency electric sparks in an inert argon atmosphere or create a DC arc in air. The alloy analyzer can be used to analyze the composition of various metal substrates according to usage requirements.
- Spectrum “shift” protection with auto-profiling (on-peak algorithm, 0.1 pixel accuracy) allows self-adjustment to environmental temperature changes.
- Using "unique Jet-stream technology". Thanks to that, the device can easily analyze objects with non-flat surfaces or in the form of tubes, coils, or even wires using only a very small amount of argon gas.
- The high precision alloy analyzer spectrometer can be used for laboratory sample analysis or for rapid on-site alloy classification. The instrument can be used with a variety of probes for a variety of applications with very simple and quick assembly and disassembly.
- In addition, the spectrometer uses measuring heads with high-performance HPC optical fiber (high performance carbon). HPC is a new fiber technology that eliminates the influence of overexposure effects. The “unique” light transmission and HPC stability allow the analysis of low carbon and important elements to be performed continuously with high precision and repeatability.
- The analytical limits of light elements reach very low (C: 5 ppm; Si: 5 ppm; P: 5 ppm; S: 5 ppm; Mg: 1 ppm; N: 20 ppm...)
- The GRADE Database software contains 12 million names of 339,000 materials from 69 countries and territories.
