The operation is controlled with the management software and the control system of the equipment to avoid errors, manual errors or the influence of vibrations. With a single movement, the indenter automatically moves down towards the sample, locks it and then performs the hardness test measurement cycle. The test measurements are completely controlled by the computer, eliminating human error and increasing the accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility of the measurements.
The specimen holder can hold pre-determined specimens for each size or according to ASTM 1414 without having to make manual settings.
Measurements are stored in the PC and analyzed for statistical procedures.
