Taylor Hobson - Talyvel 6

Wireless Inclinometer

Taylor Hobson - Talyvel 6

Talyvel 6 is an electronic inclinometer that provides flexible and accurate angle, level, flatness and straightness measurements.

Technical Description

  • Applications of this device include measuring the straightness of guide rails in machine tools, the flatness of a map table or the absolute level of a structural member. The Talyvel 6 also has a function to compare the difference between the preset level and the measured level.
  • Optional level difference measurement comparison function
  • Wireless connectivity option with range up to 10 m
  • Pendulum-based transmitter with high stability and fast adjustment of gravitational acceleration or absolute level
  • High resolution and accuracy up to 0.2 seconds
  • Reading units in arc seconds or gradient

Applications

Civil Engineering

• Remote monitoring of construction inclination
• Checking the displacement of bridge arches before and after construction
• Checking foundation settlement and balancing the foundation base
• Leveling the foundation for radar systems, gyro platforms, weapons or large telescopes
• Checking the flatness and alignment of the rails

Industrial machine tools

• Check the straightness and torsion of the slide
• Check the perpendicularity of the column to the slide
• Measure the flatness of the flat table
• Monitor the settlement of large machinery
• Measure the curvature of the rolls
• Check and establish parallelism

Marine Engineering

• Check the torsion of the marine engine base
• Position the weapon aperture in sync with the reference platform (differential mode)
• Check the parallelism of the crank pin with the main bearing on the marine crankshaft
