Fast testing speed, automatic, high sensitivity, high accuracy...
INTROS-AUTO is designed for non-destructive testing of cables with automatic data interpretation. Automatic interpretation is based on changing light warnings on the instrument. Green light allows continued operation of the cable; yellow light means that the defect meets 70% of the rejection criteria and red light warns that the cable can no longer be used.
The following criteria are used for wire rejection - the number of broken wires along the laying length and the loss of metal cross-sectional area in percentage. INTROS-AUTO stores detailed data, which can be downloaded and interpreted in a conventional way.
The device consists of a pair of magnetic heads, a controller and a display connected on a cable up to 80 m in length. The magnetic heads have powerful permanent magnets, and the measuring system is equipped with Hall Effect sensors and coils.
