Technical Description
The Hitachi X-MET8000 Precious is a premium handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) precious metal analyzer designed for applications in determining the content and age of gold, silver, platinum, and precious alloys in the gold, silver, jewelry, and precious metal recovery industries.
Customers should note: Gold age meters on the market use 2 main probe sensors. Understanding the difference will help choose the right high-quality product:
- SDD (Silicon Drift Detector) sensor : Latest technology, high accuracy, fast measurement speed.
- Si-PIN sensor (Silicon PIN Detector) : Old technology, poor accuracy
