It can handle samples up to 100°C and has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. A window shield protects the detector window from damage. An integrated camera is optional.
X-MET8000 Optimum
X-MET8000 Optimum is a mid-range model offering greater flexibility and performance for elemental analysis. It has a choice of 40kV or 50kV X-ray tubes with a 6-position filter changer, a large-area SDD, and non-standard FP calibration that includes light-element analysis. It can handle samples up to 100°C, or up to 400°C with the optional HERO™ heat-resistant window. It is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, and an optional window shield protects the detector window. An integrated camera and a small-spot collimator are optional.
X-MET8000 Expert
X-MET8000 Expert is the top-end model, delivering the highest accuracy and precision for elemental analysis. It features a 50kV X-ray tube with a 6-position filter changer, a large-area SDD, and automatic standard addition calibration that selects the best empirical calibration for each sample. It can handle samples up to 100°C, or up to 400°C with the optional HERO™ heat-resistant window. It is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, and an optional window shield protects the detector window. An integrated camera and small-spot collimator are included.
